Hi! The event feature I'm going to be talking about this week is brand new event pages. These are pages that give you general information about the event and there is usually a link to register for the event. We've revamped these event pages to look similar to our campaign pages.
On the top left pane, you have a carousel slider here where you could have images or videos. On the right pane, it shows the date, add to calendar functionality as well as the location along with a Google Map link. You can socially share of course. And below are the different tab sections.
By default it does include an About area, this is HTML that you can customize however you want. You could have different colored text, you could include images, you could include videos. There are two other pre-built tabs you can show as well.
One is Activities. This shows the different activities for an event along with their date and time. If you include the location, it shows that as well. You can of course customize the activity description.
The other tab you can enable is the Attendee List. This is available so that people can find who is attending.
Lastly, you can add your own custom HTML sections. You could have an FAQ section or any section that is just customized HTML. You could have a videos tab if you want to showing different information about the events or an images tab, etc. You can have as many customized HTML tabs as you want.
This feature is not live for existing customers yet. If you're watching this, feel free to reach out to support to enable this new event page. Otherwise, we'll be reaching out to each customer to see when they want to make the transition.
In terms of how you set up this event page, once it's enabled for an event, you will see a page option here for an event. It shows the default sections: About, Activities, Attendees. You can hide them if you want. You could resort them differently. You can even rename them. For example, I can rename "About" to something else. And you can also add a custom HTML sections. Here's one I've added. If I expand it, you do see the HTML editor where you could add the content you want. In terms of defining what's going to be in the top left panel, that is the carousel slider which is under this screen. You can add different items like videos or photos. Of course, you can resort them as well. Eventually, the slider will become a part of the page interface, but it's just not quite ready yet.
